Endoscopy RN

Clinica Sabah Specialty Hospital in Dubai is seeking a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our esteemed medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our endoscopy unit, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable.
2. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
3. Monitor patients' vital signs and provide immediate care in case of complications.
4. Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning.
5. Administer medications as required and manage patient sedation levels.
6. Document patient information accurately, including procedure details and post-procedure care instructions.
7. Provide post-procedure care and education to patients and their families.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
9. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Valid RN license in the UAE.
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Nurse.
4. BLS and ACLS certification.
5. Strong knowledge of endoscopic procedures and equipment.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
8. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
