JOB AS CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER

Applications are invited for the post of Chief Finance Officer (CFO) in the Institute. Requisite qualifications and experience are as follows:Chief Finance Officer (CFO)Qualification, Experience & Age LimitFellow Member of recognized body of professional accountants (CA/ICMAP/CIMA or equivalent) with 10 years post qualification experience; orMaster's degree in finance, MBA (Finance) or equivalent with 15 years' post qualification experience.Preference will be given to the candidates having membership of professional accounting bodies.ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will be responsible for managing all functions of the Institute including finance, accounts, audit, and tax matters. The incumbent will contribute to formulating and implementing strategies, models, systems, policies, processes, and action plans to create a performance-driven culture in the organization.Responsibilities also Include:Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Manage all matters related to taxation to ensure regulatory compliance including those of Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP) authorities and FBR.Manage financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support decision-making.Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.Identify and mitigate financial risks.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting.Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.GIK offers attractive salary packages and fringe benefits/facilities.
