Reference: 14017Credit Associate Director, Fund of Funds, Global Investment Firm, Doha, QatarOur client is a leading international investment manager who is looking for an experienced director to join their credit, equities and hedge funds investment unit. This role will be focused on fund and co-investments across the entire credit market and will be based full time in Doha, Qatar.About our clientOur client is a leading international investment manager who is looking for an experienced director to join their credit, equities and hedge funds investment unit. This role will be focused on fund and co-investments across the entire credit market and will be based full time in Doha, Qatar.What the job involvesDrive the growth and development of the Credit portfolio, delivering above-benchmark investment returns while creating exposure to non-core asset classes and co-investment opportunities.Actively manage a global portfolio of external funds ensuring strategic alignment and robust performance.Conduct detailed due diligence on Credit funds and co-investment opportunities, coupled with ongoing assessment and tracking of developmental plans.Build and maintain a network of strategic partnerships with leading global fund managers.Lead a team to execute initiatives and projects effectively.Monitor and ensure progress toward both developmental and commercial goals, providing insights and recommendations to align with strategic priorities.Develop and refine the strategy for the Fund of Funds (FoF) program based on progress, performance, and evolving market conditions.Who we are looking forExperience in credit manager selection (credit FoFs) is essential.An in-depth expertise in private asset classes and credit relationships at a high level.Background from an alternative asset manager, specialised fund of fund boutique or fund advisory. Investment banking and broader advisory backgrounds will also be considered.Demonstrated ability to strategise and execute plans for private credit funds or similar financial institutions.Experience or understanding of the gulf investment landscape would be highly beneficial.Fluency in English required. Proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.Educational background of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
