Harbour Tug Marine Engineer The Port of Cork Company promotes Diversity and Inclusion in our workplace as we know to be successful, we need diverse talent with different skills, and abilities. We are looking to recruit a suitable candidate with a minimum Class 4 STCW motor qualification with relevant medium speed plant and sole engineer onboard experience. The Role You will work as part of the Port Maintenance & Engineering team providing this integral role and will report directly to the Port Maintenance & Maintenance Engineering Manager based in Cork Harbour. You will be required to be a self-starter who works on your own initiative as well as being part of a team. Roster commitment is a requirement as the role is based on a time on/off schedule. Qualifications and Experience 3+ years experience at a similar levelworking with harbour tugs or other similar vessels with lone working commitments Qualified Marine Engineer with a minimum Class 4 STCW motor qualification Hold a valid Irish Seafarers Medical or ENG1 Seafarers Medical Certificate issued by an administration of an EU member state Be familiar and experiencedwith Voith propulsion and medium speed plant Lone engineer role experience Previous Drydocking & Classification Society survey experience would be advantageous Previous computerised Planned Maintenance system experience would be useful What are the Benefits?
