We have an exciting opportunity for a technically and commercially astute superstar to take on this dual Account Manager / Principal Manager role. About the role Reporting to the ANZ Business Unit Manager, this role will see the successful candidate promoting and selling specialty chemicals/additives, as well as becoming the subject matter expert and ‘go-to’ person for the assigned product portfolio, offering support to customers and colleagues regarding product application, technical troubleshooting, and commercial terms. This will involve:
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients as well as identifying and onboarding new prospects.
- Understanding customer needs and problems, offering solutions, organizing samples, and staying on top of project progress.
- Working in partnership with customers to develop plans for their next generation products, presenting new products that offer them a technical or competitive advantage, and becoming their supplier of choice.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Reporting to Principals (suppliers) regularly regarding sales and development projects.
- Understanding the principals’ goals for the products you manage, maintaining regular communication, and being the conduit of information to the rest of the Sales Team.
- Developing a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Stock management: forecasting, purchasing, and inventory management of designated products.
