Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Based in: Manawatū-Whanganui or Auckland Strategic Focus: Big growth plans on the horizon Minimum Experience: Must have minimum 10 years' experience in a blue-collar industry Your new organisation You'll be joining a well-reputed Kiwi organisation who top the ranks in terms of service and company culture. Having attained steady growth for the last 5 years, they are now keen to take this one step further as we head into 2025. Your new role You will be working closely with the CEO and his executive team in developing strategic business plans in collaboration with the board. This varied and interesting role is likely to develop and shift over time; however, your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining a high-performing nation-wide finance team with 6 direct reports
• Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow, and overall financial compliance
• Risk management and mitigation
• Preparing and presenting board reports adding interest and insights
• Developing and implementing the organisation's long-term financial strategy
• Identifying and exploring potential M&A opportunities across ANZ

The successful candidate In order to be considered for this role, it is essential that you hold a relevant tertiary qualification (i.e. CA, CPA, ACCA, etc.). You will also have a minimum of 10 years' experience post-qualification, ideally in a blue-collar industry. You'll be a confident communicator with a natural affinity for turning numbers into a story. You'll be a true team player who both influences and motivates those around them with out-of-the-box thinking and, above all else, you will be someone who doesn't shy away from a challenge!
