Checkout Manager - New World Aokautere

Due to an internal move, our Checkout Manager position will be vacant in January! This is a busy role suited to someone with high energy and confidence, someone with initiative and common sense, and someone who has the ability to manage our checkout team and rosters with the support of Checkout Supervisors. The successful candidate will understand how to meet customer expectations and provide support to the entire checkout team. The following attributes are essential to be the successful applicant for this role:

• Checkout and/or customer service experience in a supermarket environment
• Management experience
• Duty Manager certificate preferred but not essential
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Basic maths skills
• Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role
• Can follow instruction
• Can think on the run
• Readily accepts change
• Is a team player
