Warehouse Supervisor

Company Background: The company is a prominent provider of sensory experience solutions with expertise in various core technologies including semiconductor. The company is located in Senai, Johor. Notably, they are the sole micro-component manufacturing company from China ranked in the top 10 company in China. Job Description:

1. Operational Management:
   • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
   • Ensure all operations adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
2. Inventory Control:
   • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
   • Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records of inventory.
3. Staff Supervision:
   • Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance.
   • Schedule shifts and allocate tasks to meet workload demands.
4. Safety and Compliance:
   • Enforce safety standards and ensure proper handling of equipment and materials.
   • Address any safety concerns promptly and ensure compliance with OSHA or local regulations.
5. Process Improvement:
   • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
   • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline operations.

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage as the role requires communication with customers from China.
