Shipping Officer

Experience : 10 - 15 Years Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Freight forwarder, Vendor, Transporter and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the Oversize / Overweight shipments.
• Should possess sound knowledge in various types of transporters, types of vessels and types of containers.
• Sound Knowledge in Free-trade Agreements Process and Procedures, customs clearance process and tariffs.
• Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with company’s internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
• Monitor and track the status of the shipments and provide regular updates to the clients and management.
• Resolve any issues, delays, or problems that may arise during the transportation process.
• Prepare and review the invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and other documents related to the shipments.
• Ability to create Transport Plan for Equipment’s originating from different location choosing the economical mode of multimodal transportation.
• Planning and scheduling the shipments to suit the project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the local and international laws, regulations, and standards regarding the transportation of heavy lift cargo.
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple shipments.
