SEP Schools are seeking exceptional Stage Leaders to join us in August 2025. As the educational leader for our lower and upper elementary divisions (Grades 1-5) , the Stage Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic experience for our young learners while fostering a positive, collaborative school culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with staff, students, and parents, maintaining a high level of accountability, and driving the implementation of key aspects of the school’s improvement plan. Additionally, the Stage Leader will promote innovative instructional practices, integrating technology as both a tool for learning and communication. Reporting directly to the Head of Primary , the Stage Leader will be a valued member of the Middle Leadership Team and will have the following key responsibilities:

  1. Staff Leadership & Development: Support the recruitment process and retention of excellent Homeroom and Class Teachers. Lead the professional development opportunities for class/homeroom teachers and teaching assistants.
  2. Performance Management: Support the Head of Primary in the performance evaluations of class/homeroom teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  3. Professional Growth: Lead by example in developing your own professional practice and that of your team.
  4. Admissions & Enrolment: Contribute to the admissions process to ensure the school attracts and retains a diverse, motivated student body.
  5. Wellbeing & Support: Support both staff and student wellbeing, promoting a balanced and enriching educational experience through curricular and extracurricular programs.
  6. Accreditation & Compliance: Assist with accreditation processes to ensure the school maintains high standards of quality and meets international benchmarks.

  1. Acceptable police checks (or equivalent) from both your country of origin and any countries in which you have worked.
  2. Verified references from your current and previous employers, corroborated by personal phone calls.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Certified teaching qualification (e.g., US Teaching License or equivalent).
  2. Previous experience of teaching an international curriculum (e.g. American/IB/British) is a significant advantage.
  3. Expertise in Primary/Elementary Education: In-depth knowledge and experience in elementary education, with a strong focus on fostering academic excellence, innovation, and student engagement.
