MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence-based nursing care, operational efficiency, and positive patient experiences.KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team.
- Ensure evidence-based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards.
- Ensure a positive patient care experience by developing employees and creating an environment for team engagement.
- Manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost-effective and efficient manner to enhance safe patient care.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised or accredited Nursing Institute. Valid BLS certificate.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years’ nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital. At least 2 years' senior nursing or Team Leading experience in an Outpatient setting is desired.- Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation).
- Relevant JCIA and other related governance and regulatory standards.
- Application of the nursing scope of practices as per the regulatory framework.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of risk management principles, systems, and best practices.
- Understanding of stock control principles and management.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
