Electrical Designer / Resident Engineer

Job Description: A well-reputed MEP consultancy firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and execution of electrical designs for a variety of projects, focusing on Electrical and Allied Systems.Responsibilities:Develop detailed electrical system designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Create and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for various projects.Perform Load Sizing calculations to determine the electrical load requirements.Size and specify generators (Genset), transformers, and cables based on project specifications.Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for electrical components and systems.Conduct engineering estimates to determine project costs and resource requirements.Collaborate with other teams to ensure cost-effectiveness and value engineering in design solutions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.2 years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, with a focus on relevant expertise.Proficient in industry-standard design tools and software.Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Job Specification:AutoCAD certified individual with hands-on experience.Microsoft Office is a plus.Revit understanding will be nice to have.Etap is a plus.
