Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from HEC recognized university with at least 2 years of experience. PEC registration is mandatory.Responsibilities:As an Engineer - Mechanical, the incumbent will be instrumental in ensuring successful execution of various mechanical projects undertaken by SSGC.Duties and Responsibilities:Contribute in the development of comprehensive feasibility reports for management review.Participate in material inspections, recommending acceptance or rejection based on quality assurance protocols and standards relevant to mechanical engineering projects.Conduct technical bid evaluation for multiple engineering goods such as scrubbers, filter separators, assorted valves etc.Assist in preparing technical feasibility assessments for various mechanical projects.Apply in-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and standards within the gas or energy industry.Provide support in monitoring project execution at construction sites, checking compliance with design specifications, applicable codes, and standards.Assist in verifying project schedules and timelines, highlighting potential issues.Collaborate with vendors for mechanical components and services, ensuring the selection of reliable and cost-effective suppliers.Identify and assess potential risks associated with mechanical projects and develop effective mitigation strategies.Actively participate in the installation, construction, and commissioning of mechanical projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications.Comply with the risk management framework.Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded and managed in a timely manner.Receive appropriate training in risk management.Undertake any other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.
