Your new role
- Develop tools and processes, such as spreadsheets, for programming and tracking repair and maintenance activities to ensure timely progress and reporting.
- Coordinate quotes and invoices, and generate Work Orders, Purchase Orders, and Customer Request Management (CRM) as directed.
- Plan, coordinate, monitor, and review CRMs frequently, allocate tasks to appropriate officers and/or contractors, and update tasks within timeframes to achieve required service levels.
- Maintain building specifications, manuals, drawings, documents, and records in a formal register.
- Monitor building maintenance budget expenditure by investigating over and under expenditure and making recommendations to resolve issues.
- Complete insurance claims for theft and property damage as required.
- Implement and coordinate planned preventative maintenance programs, reactive maintenance, and repair activities for buildings, ensuring all statutory services tests and examinations meet compliance requirements.
- Provide a consistent level of service for the Asset Services team, internal and external stakeholders.
- Be accountable and employ ethical decision-making and good governance in line with organizational code of conduct, values, policies, procedures, and broader aspirations.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in building maintenance activities and facility management.
- Experience in procurement and management of contractors for building maintenance and repair works.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders and provide instructions.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Understanding and knowledge of relevant Occupational Safety and Health Act, Regulations, and legislation as applied to the industry.
- May be required to attend sites to inspect works and liaise with contractors
