About the role We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic team at FONSUN PROGRESS SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the execution and delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a full-time position. What you'll be doing

• Overseeing and coordinating all on-site construction activities, including managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety protocols.
• Conducting site inspections, monitoring construction progress, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate project documentation, including daily reports, quality control records, and site meeting minutes.
• Collaborating with the project management team to ensure the timely delivery of projects within budget and to the client's satisfaction.
• Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Possessing excellent abilities in Chinese expression and communication.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology, such as project management tools and CAD software.
