Graduate Software Engineer

Your role

The Graduate Program   works a little differently! They don't ask you to rotate through different teams or departments - unless you'd like to! Once welcomed to a team, you take on responsibility contribute to the delivery of commercial software products, and begin to help make a real-world impact. Their products range from scheduling and optimisation to 3D modelling software and specialist operations software. By learning where your strengths align within Deswik you can quickly build your capabilities and develop your future. Your day-to-day varies depending on the projects and work you’re involved in. What you can expect are the following, no matter what:

• Write code and automated tests to implement new features and maintain existing systems
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies and processes, this includes planning meetings, stand-ups, showcases, retrospectives
• Assist with drafting scoping documents and creating as-built documentation
• Contribute to commercial products, gaining real-world experience
• Work alongside and be mentored by their 90+ software development experts
