Data Analyst

We have an exciting full-time opportunity in our Media Operations Team, tuning audience data into actionable insights. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated professional who wants to progress their career in media research and join a team launching a first-of-its-kind service. In this role, you will be responsible for several key performance and quality indicators across Australia and New Zealand. You will have the autonomy to make the role your own while still working closely with both Operations and Commercial teams. Key responsibilities include:

1. Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
2. Taking ownership of data quality, delivery, and reporting
3. Maintaining and enhancing existing processes as well as developing and adopting new tools and processes as required
4. Running, setting up, and maintaining quality control procedures and reports
5. Managing online sampling activation, quotas, and monitoring
6. Liaising with third-party vendors, reporting survey completes, validating invoices, and benchmarking
7. Analyzing data and reporting back to internal stakeholders

Skills and experience:

1. The ideal candidate must be highly data-focused, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate the ability to react and adapt quickly to changing business needs with great communication skills.

Qualifications

1. Strong Excel and data processing skills (including PowerQuery)
2. Critical thinking mindset with strong problem-solving skills
3. VBA, SQL, or Python knowledge is desirable
4. PowerBi or Tableau dashboard experience is a plus
5. 1-3 years prior work experience in an analytical role
6. Above-average knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft VBA
7. Some experience with SQL databases
8. Ideally, some experience working with AWS Athena and dashboarding platforms such as Tableau
9. Sound communication skills, good English, and the ability to work independently
10. Availability in the Sydney, Australia time zone 9 am – 5 pm
