Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer The company Your new company is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the development of innovative electrical hardware products. The successful candidate will be responsible for; Spearheading technical assignments in research, design, and development of electrical hardware products, encompassing electromechanical devices, components, and systems. Conceptualizing and developing innovative hardware, circuits, and software solutions, ensuring feasibility and efficiency. Collaborating in design reviews, offering expertise in design for manufacturability and assembly. Creating and releasing engineering documentation, communicating with vendors to expedite design parts and assemblies. Driving the design of AC/DC power distribution systems, including circuit breakers, power supplies, and cabling harnesses. Developing, testing, and documenting designs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer requirements. Estimating product and project parameters, including power consumption, weight, size, and schedule. Facilitating a seamless transition from engineering to production, collaborating with manufacturing and other organizations. Interfacing with customers to understand technical requirements and propose quality solutions. Troubleshooting electrical issues on-site, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills. Assisting engineering management in developing schedules and specifications for new and legacy products. Maintaining cutting-edge technical knowledge and directing engineering and technical support personnel as needed. Requirements: The ideal candidate should have; Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience or Master's Degree with 3 years of experience in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering. Technical Expertise: Working knowledge of electrical systems, motion, temperature measurement, PID loops, and safety interlock circuits. Design Experience: Dynamic electromechanical system design and proficiency in OrCAD, AutoCAD, PCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software. Safety Knowledge: NFPA, Semi Safety Requirements, and Machine safety. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English and effective communication skills.
