Front Office RAD Developer

Main Responsibilities Understanding key business requirements of Rate Vanilla and Exotic Products desks. Taking part in the development of new tools and industrialisation/enhancement of the current ones, following commando standards. Using mainly python for the backend and Excel for the front end. Supporting trading tools (mainly in Excel/VBA and python) Maintaining a strong working relationship with the trading team. Working with a team of 2 commandos based in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer. Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence. Qualifications and Profile Candidates should have 5+ years experience in relevant activity. Good understanding of Capital Markets Domain and market activities. Sound Knowledge on Regulatory Reporting (MAS, HKMA, EMIR, JFSA, CFTC, MIFID). Exposure to the Capital Markets with proficiency in financial instruments (Bonds, Rates, Equity, etc.), trading lifecycle, and market data. Relevant experience with working with external sources like Bloomberg, Reuters. Proven experience in technical proficiency with strong skills in SQL. Basic Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and any cloud platform. Basic Understanding of No-SQL DB. High level of proficiency in Unix/Linux, PowerShell scripting. SLA & KPI management, client communication & interaction. Predictive analysis, consulting, escalation management. Risk analysis and project execution. Appetite for continuous improvement and automation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to support Front Office users. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Autonomous, self-motivated, and excellent team player. Strong perseverance and diligence towards attaining goals and effective time management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
