Job summary: Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support for end-users both on-site and remotely. You will also have responsibility for the installation, deployment and support of servers/desktop/laptop/mobile devices/peripheral devices hardware and software. Responsibilities may also include server support and management of local network LAN. You will support end users across a wide geographical area covering multiple countries. Specific Responsibilities:
- Providing IT technical support to employees in person, via phone and online messaging.
- Providing expertise including, but not limited to technology deployment, service troubleshooting, root cause analysis, hardware and software inventory management.
- Configuring, installing, maintaining and repairing problems with desktops, laptops, servers, client hardware, software and network connections. Having the ability to provide basic LAN workstation support.
- Troubleshooting basic Wi-Fi problems to determine if the problems are network or device related.
- Designing and implementing IT projects, partnering with the business to stay current on active and future projects.
- Providing support on all Windows Server and Client OS’s, Office 365, Active Directory and other various products.
- Providing support to manufacturing applications throughout the operation facility.
- Updating, documenting and retaining all maintenance information for PC hardware/software items and an accurate inventory of installed hardware and software.
- Working with and managing 3rd party vendors to procure hardware and software.
- Strong/high level of English language, both written and verbally.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in an international organisation.
- Solid knowledge of software and hardware.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft environment in general.
- Knowledge of standard operating systems such as Windows 10 & 100, Windows server 2019 & 2022 incl. DHCP, DNS, Active directory.
- Knowledge of network in general, LAN & WIFI incl. cabling.
- Knowledge of Copiers, printers, and AV equipment.
- Knowledge of kaseya is a distinct advantage.
- Solid interpersonal skills and a customer-focused / service mindset.
- Pragmatic, robust and solution orientated personality, with the ability to work well in a team environment and to build strong relationships across a multi-cultural employee base.
