Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Veterinary Clinical Pathology in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences [Ref. R/096/24]

Duties
The appointee will actively contribute to the missions of VCS to train highly professional veterinary clinicians, to advance animal health through clinical research and to engage with the local community. The appointee will teach across the BVM curriculum to ensure that students can attain Day 1 competences by integrating and applying knowledge, skills and professional attitudes; lead students on clinical rotations and provide services for our clinical partner; contribute to didactic and laboratory teaching; take up administrative work and other duties to facilitate the development of the College and its Departments as a whole. We expect individuals to develop their work internationally through services, networking and leadership in the field. Active involvement in research is expected. Tenure-track faculty are expected to acquire extramural funding and establish an independent research programme.Requirements
Candidates must possess a veterinary qualification recognized for registration as a veterinary surgeon in Hong Kong. Board certification (European, Australian/New Zealand, American or equivalent Boards) in Clinical Pathology is required. Candidates with credentials for Board certification completed, or near completion may also apply. Experience in clinical teaching, service and research is required. A PhD is required for tenure-track appointment and it will be considered an asset for clinical-track appointment.Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance.
