Accountant

About the Role Leeford Healthcare is seeking a highly experienced Accountant with 7 to 8 years of experience, particularly in e-commerce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and managing accounts while providing strategic insights to drive the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets to support management decision-making. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide actionable insights to enhance profitability and operational efficiency. Monitor and reconcile bank statements, ensure accuracy of transactions, and resolve discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support e-commerce and B2C initiatives, providing financial insights to drive sales and marketing strategies. Prepare for and assist with audits, ensuring all documentation and processes are compliant and organized. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Requirements 7 to 8 years of accounting experience, with a preference for candidates with e-commerce or B2C industry experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance in the e-commerce or B2C sector.
