Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) About the role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Batu Kawan, Penang. As a full-time Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations of our company. What you'll be doing
- Preferable Mandarin speaking candidates as need to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders

- Handling incoming calls, emails and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner
- Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as required
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor the company's cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company maintains a healthy cash reserve.
- Account Reconciliation: Manage the general ledger and perform account reconciliations, including the calculation of foreign exchange gains and losses, ensuring accuracy.
- Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Performing data entry and verifying the accuracy of financial information
- Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed
- Adhering to established accounting procedures and internal controls
- Reading : The ability to understand and read documents, reports, etc., in both languages.
- Writing : The ability to write clearly and accurately in both English and Chinese for emails, reports, and other business communications.
- Language Proficiency : The ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and clients.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
