ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT MANAGER job with SWIFT GROUP OF COMPANIES | 13039086

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate and timely financial and management reporting.
• Ensure financial reports are completed and submitted according to the schedule determined by management.
• Assist in preparing the financial budget and financial analysis, as well as interpreting financial data.
• Assist in preparing for the yearly audited report and ensure tax returns are submitted on a timely basis.
• Review, propose, and monitor operations systems and controls.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory filing requirements, and reporting in line with the company's policies and procedures.
• Communicate with all levels to drive financial performance and internal control.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, legal officers, and other statutory bodies/authorities.
• Perform any additional ad hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. Those with accounting professional qualifications ( ACCA / CIMA / MICPA / ASCPA ) recognized by MIA or equivalent will have an added advantage.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Experience from an audit background is highly desired.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Must be a self-starter with a high level of diligence, initiative, strong team player, well-organized, have high integrity, and a good sense of responsibility.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using a computerized accounting system.
• Applicants must be willing to work at Bandar Sultan Suleiman, Port Klang.
