What You’ll Be Doing

  • Data Collection and Reporting : Collaborate with regional offices across Saudi Arabia to gather essential data for reporting and decision-making.
  • Progress Updates : Prepare accurate weekly and monthly project reports for submission to the Project Manager and senior client management.
  • Site Assessments : Conduct regular site visits to evaluate project progress, compliance with standards, and prepare detailed visit reports as needed.
  • Risk Management : Analyze project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and propose practical solutions to ensure milestones are met.
  • Documentation Management : Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all project-related data, ensuring proper documentation and regular updates.
  • Compliance Review : Review project documents to ensure alignment with management tools, frameworks, and established procedures.
  • Stakeholder Coordination : Participate in and help organize meetings with consultants and contractors, addressing challenges and monitoring project progress at the head office or regional sites.
  • Presentations : Develop and deliver project progress presentations for senior client management, summarizing achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Budget Preparation : Assist the Project Manager in creating and reviewing budgets for upcoming projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and financial guidelines.
  • Training and Development : Contribute to training sessions for project teams, focusing on professional management tools and practices to enhance capabilities.
  • Quality Audits : Support the Project Manager in conducting audits to verify adherence to quality standards and ensure compliance across project activities.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Language Proficiency : Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English is preferred. Candidates without Arabic proficiency must have significant experience working as a consultant for Saudi Arabian government departments.
  • Certification : PMP certification is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills : Strong report-writing and presentation abilities with experience using professional project management tools.
  • Experience :
    • At least 10 years of professional experience in project management, supervision, and planning, specifically in the water and wastewater sectors .
    • A minimum of 3 out of the last 5 years should be with a reputable international consultancy firm.
