As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur's Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Junior Engine Programmer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect. Junior Engine Programmer Responsibilities:
- Work on all aspects of the engine: designing, developing and supporting our technology
- Work in tandem with Larian's other programmers, to achieve team goals
- Work closely together with the other departments to implement game components
- Write robust and maintainable code
- Work under supervision of a mentor, on specific technology features
- Write and maintain unit tests
- Be an active participant in the design and production of the game; as the technical side of the creative team!
- Used C++ to develop game projects, or similar real-time applications
- Open minded, willing to experiment and iterate over a specific feature
- Good communication skills in English
- You are a team player and willing to take responsibility
- Problem-solving skills
- Bachelors in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering
- Experience in modern Graphics API (D3D12, Vulkan)
- Have shipped commercial games
- An international team of over 500 employees spread across 7 studios around the world, each of which have their own unique qualities, and maintain a small-studio feel
