About Company : Our client is one of the fastgrowing Financial Technology companies in Africa Job Objective : The company is seeking to hire a resourceful Operations Officer who will be responsible for resolving all reconciliation issues arising from transactions and performing automated backoffice processing such as dispute processing settlement reconciliation and reporting Key Responsibilities Reconcile and verify all settlement files obtained from the System before settlement. Report all inconsistencies realized during verification and reconciliation of the settlement files to the technical team and line manager for resolution before the actual settlement. Coordinate with Customer Experience teams to communicate transaction claims (reversals) successfully processed and settled. Coordinate with Reconciliation teams of participating member banks to address their reconciliation issues and provide support promptly. Compile all day s transaction vouchers and records and file them accordingly. Adhere to key processes in line with the respective job requirements to achieve high levels of operational efficiency. Identify process gaps in key areas and suggest remedial measures to address the gaps. Maintain and update a tracker of customer invoices and collections while following up with customers to ensure payments are received on time.
Requirements
Key Requirements Bachelor s degree in accounting statistics business management or in any related fields. 23 years experience in the Banking/Financial sector. Experience with data analytics skills. i.e. proficient use of MS Excel and any other data analysis tools. Excellent problemsolving abilities. Excellent interpersonal and data analytical skills. Excellent written and oral Communication skills. Efficient and able to meet deadlines. Quick learning abilities and flexibility in all aspects.Benefits
