The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. This role involves analyzing inventory data, coordinating with various departments, and implementing inventory control procedures.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment.Data Analysis: Analyze inventory trends and usage patterns to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.Stock Management: Implement and oversee inventory management systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.Reporting: Prepare regular inventory reports, including stock status, turnover rates, and discrepancies.Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams to align inventory strategies with business goals.Quality Assurance: Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations, addressing discrepancies promptly.Training and Development: Train staff on inventory procedures and best practices to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.Supplier Management: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory and resolve any issues related to stock availability.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in inventory management or supply chain operations (3-5 years preferred).Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems).Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with inventory forecasting and demand planning.Knowledge of lean inventory management practices.Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
