We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Fashion Garment Technologist to join a dynamic team and play a vital role in bringing our fashion creations to life.Role and Responsibilities: As a Fashion Garment Technologist, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless transition from design concept to final product. Your responsibilities will include:Collaborating closely with designers to understand the technical aspects of their vision and providing valuable input during the design phase.Translating design concepts into detailed technical specifications, including measurements, patterns, and construction methods.Conducting thorough fitting sessions and making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired fit and comfort of garments.Identifying potential production challenges and working proactively to find innovative solutions that maintain the integrity of the design.Collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to source suitable fabrics, trims, and materials, ensuring they meet quality standards.Conducting rigorous quality control inspections at various stages of production to uphold our commitment to excellence.Staying updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturing techniques to continuously improve our processes.Qualifications:Degree in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Garment Technologist within the fashion industry.Proficiency in pattern-making, grading, and garment construction techniques.Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and manufacturing processes.Excellent attention to detail and a passion for achieving impeccable fit and quality.Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
