Mortgage lenders, banks, brokers and credit unions of all sizes use LenderHomePage.com’s customizable and scalable solutions to enhance borrower experience, streamline the mortgage process, and increase Loan Officer productivity and efficiency. Position Overview We're in search of an exceptional Lead Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in working through complex projects, with our technology stack of Laravel, PHP, Vue, MySQL, and MongoDB. As our ideal candidate, you'll be able to:
- Write quality code that is efficient, reusable, and easy to understand.
- Construct robust tests to ensure our systems are running smoothly.
- Participate in peer code reviews, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
- Create technical design documents that clearly illustrate system designs.
- Think creatively and critically, owning problems from inception to resolution.
- Share ownership of multiple, highly-available microservices from front to back.
- What sets you apart is your track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects. You not only understand the 'what' and 'how' of your work, but you deeply comprehend the 'why'. You are a broadly skilled engineer with experience in developing web services, building always-on systems, and working across a variety of technologies and service layers.
- Extensive experience with Laravel, Vue, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- PHP: 6 or more years of experience
- Laravel: 5 or more years of experience
- Vue: 5 or more years of experience.
- Knowledge of Linux, Docker
- Prior experience as a senior software engineer/developer
- Basic familiarity with core aws offerings, RDS, EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda
- First hand experience with larger codebases and how to best architect them to scale
- Ability to implement product requirements and Figma prototypes into functional, reusable, and scalable components and features
- Analytical, organized and high attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to guide and lead large-scale, high-impact projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Experience in the mortgage industry
