An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Water group for a Project Manager / Team Leader position. This is a dual function where you will be managing a portfolio of projects, alongside managing a team of Project Managers. At Stantec, we are proud to be one of the few engineering consultancies in the country with in-house expertise in all disciplines required for three waters network planning. We provide a comprehensive array of services to support communities—encompassing hydraulic modelling, innovative conceptual planning, investigations and optioneering, asset management, and system enhancement. Key Responsibilities as Team Lead:
- Manage a portfolio of projects.
- Understand and coordinate the team workload, resourcing, and outputs.
- Coordinate the assignment of Project Managers to projects with PMCL.
- Contribute to the development of the team’s skills and experience.
- Ensure all team members have a clear path towards Professional Accreditation, where appropriate.
- Be responsible for team utilisation.
- Initiate and manage business development opportunities and provide excellent client service.
- Provide leadership and project management to the team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and develop business opportunities to grow the Water Team.
- Support the PMCL through the continuation of migration to Stantec Project Management tools and processes, quality reviews and assessments.
