Test Lead - Automation - AWS - Federal Government

One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Test Lead to support the day to day running of their Technology Uplift program. You will look after projects that cover the adoption of new tools and platforms to enhance operational efficiency. The role can be based in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth or Melbourne with flexible working arrangements also available. The successful Test Lead will be offered a 12 month contract with a 12 month extension option.  

The successful Test Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Conducting functional, system, regression and performance testing
• Designing, writing an executing effective test cases
• Providing high detail technical documentation for test procedures and how toConfluence pages
• Implementing testing tools as required for specific technologies

The successful Test Lead will have experience in the following:

• Experience writing test plans and test cases for complex systems
• Familiarity with testing third party integrations and ensuring compatibility
• Experience with Test Automation as part of CI/CD pipeline including technologies such as Selenium, Python and JavaScript
• Experience working in a cloud environment specifically AWS (desirable)
