Job Description Role summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Systems Infrastructure Team Member to manage our mobile device management (MDM) solutions, servers, and business applications. This role is crucial for ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support across the organization. The following experience is relevant to us Key Responsibilities: 1. System Setup and Support- Assist in configuring and deploying servers and applications based on organizational guidelines.
- Work with stakeholders to understand system requirements and contribute to solution specifications.
- Help ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Support endpoint management tasks for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, assisting with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
- Follow security policies, monitor endpoints, and support incident response efforts.
- Use monitoring tools to track system performance and report findings.
- Assist in analyzing performance data to help improve system efficiency.
- Provide technical support for routine system and application issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Document and track incidents to ensure timely resolution.
- Support the implementation of backup solutions, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist in testing disaster recovery processes to minimize data loss.
- Assist with patching and updating servers, endpoints, and applications, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities under supervision.
- Help conduct regular vulnerability scans and implement fixes as directed.
- Support user access management, ensuring adherence to security policies.
- Assist with compliance documentation and support audit preparations.
- Work with other IT teams to ensure cohesive support and security practices.
- Document system configurations, processes, and incident reports, contributing to reports on system performance and security.
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS systems.
- Familiarity with endpoint security solutions (e.g., XDR, encryption) and basic networking concepts.
- Handson experience with Sentinel 1, ESXi, Jira and Intunes
- Exposure to cloud computing like AWS, GCP
- Exposure to scripting languages like PowerShell or Python is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in systems administration, endpoint management, or a similar role.
- Basic certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage tasks independently.
