Meade Farm Group are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our team as an industrial cleaner, working in a food pack house environment. To maintain the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied. NOTE: Must have own transport as public transport to our location is not an option. Primary Responsibilities
- Deep cleaning of production machinery, fridges and storage areas.
- Cleaning of all floors, surfaces at regular intervals.
- Ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
- Report any dangers or hazards to the Health & Safety Officer.
- Stock management and safe storage of required cleaning agents and equipment.
- Establishing and maintaining a consistent cleaning schedule in cooperation with line supervisors and division managers.
- Complete and maintain all associated records and paperwork in line with audit standards required.
- 2/3 years cleaning experience in an industrial or factory environment is necessary.
- Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
- Experience in working at heights and using mobile access platforms and Reach & Wash Systems an advantage.
- Good level of English is required
- Must be eligible to work on a full-time basis in Ireland.
- Understanding for the importance of safe storage of chemicals and equipment, and for Health & Safety procedures in general.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, punctual and reliable.
