Purpose of the Position Full responsibility for all finance, accounting and tax related matters. S/he is also responsible for the financial result of the country. S/he monitors and manages the risks / exposures for all divisions (Air & Sea, Solutions etc) of the Country, drives value creation initiatives and ensures high quality and timely reporting for Region, Group and statutory/legal reporting. Detailed Responsibilities: Reporting Manage monthly, quarterly and yearly closing reporting Prepare consolidation of actuals & budgets results Prepare monthly financial slides for regional management Assist countries to build local management reports for analysis Perform regular and ad-hoc analysis on country’s reporting in SAP BPC (Eg. sales personnel reporting, equity reporting etc) Controlling Act as an advisor to the business units and country finance organization Transfer knowledge & targets to local finance team Enforcement of corporate/regional policies and guidelines Perform regular analysis on country’s P&L booking & KPI metrics (eg. productivity, weekly open shipment, weekly open work-in-progress revenue status, runoff etc) Review & enforce on intercompany balances variances are within group’s threshold policy Review balance sheet of RSSC entities Review & investigate gross profit reconciliation to ensure no variances between operational system (CW1) & finance system (SAP ERP) Review of statistical key figure reported in SAP BPC are in-line of group’s policy Investigate operational processes within local country to understand the financial impact brought to the business General Act as a business partner to the Country management team Always ready for new initiative task Seek ways to improve efficiency and to automate processes Support Regional team in all finance related issues / projects Competency Requirements Desired Level Communication L2 - Proactive: Demonstrates effective behavior independently and on one’s own initiative regularly. Qualifications Requirements Market & Industry Knowledge, Business Acumen, Process working Basic knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics Good understanding of processes and SSC concepts High controlling minded Education background / Work Experience Accountant or Business Administration background 5-year experience in Reporting and Controlling Freight Forwarding experience of minimum 3 years Skills & Competencies High degree of accountability, credibility and accuracy Analytical skills Fast learner Team player Ability to work under pressure (tight deadlines) Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign & control) Ability to work with different cultures and to manage cross functional interfaces Ability to prepare and work with reports Good communication and interpersonal skills Language Skills Fluent in English (written and spoken) Fluent local language would be an advantage Computer Literacy SAP ERP Microsoft Office #J-18808-Ljbffr
