Senior Operations (Fertiliser)

Job Responsibilities Responsible for a full spectrum of shipping operations and documentation. Handle shipment and coordinate with suppliers, buyers, ship-brokers, ship owners and agents, surveyors, insurance companies, inter offices, etc., to ensure smooth loading and discharging operations. Handle a full set of shipping documents, including liaison with banks on letters of credit, negotiations, and collection of documentation. Accounting – posting of receivables and payables and control of procurement accounts. Able to provide full operations support to traders once business is concluded. Supervise and delegate work to junior staff. Requirements Diploma or Degree holder. Minimum 4 years working experience, preferably from an Agri or commodities dry bulk company. Knowledge of UCP 600, Gafta, Incoterms, Gencon charter party, accounting, laytime calculations, and CMA. Fluent in English & Mandarin (to communicate with counterparts in China). Understands the nature of work required in the commodities space. Ability to remain composed and maintain focus while working with clients, colleagues, and immediate supervisors in high-pressure situations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
