Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SQL Clustering, Always On, Log Shipping, Replication, and the usual database administration responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases.
- Implement and manage SQL Clustering and Always On Availability Groups to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
- Configure and manage log shipping to ensure data redundancy and failover capabilities.
- Set up and monitor replication to maintain database consistency across multiple servers.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and performance tuning.
- Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries to improve overall system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and provide technical support to application development teams.
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Powershell scripting automation.
- SSRS.
- SSIS.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
- Proficiency in SQL Clustering, Always On Availability Groups, Log Shipping, and Replication.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience with database backup and recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with database security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
