The Enterprise Sales team at Workday helps the company grow by balancing integrity and innovation, ensuring Workmates have the environment to bring their best self. About the Role As an Account Executive, you will be a key player in our Field Sales organization, focusing on net new revenue and customer growth. You will guide new customers on a journey to leave the limitations of legacy platforms behind and embrace a new class of enterprise management cloud. Key Responsibilities: Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory. Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment. Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects, sharing Workday value propositions. Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data. About You Basic Qualifications: • ~8+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position. • Experience negotiating deals with C-Suite Executives. • Experience in generating and developing leads within your territory. Other Qualifications: • Proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, including prospecting opportunities. • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry. • Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
