We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our SMSF team in Albury. We are flexible on the level of person, whether that be a Trainee, Graduate or Accountant. This role is responsible for accurate Superannuation fund processing for a diverse range of clients and will provide you with the opportunity to work within a very talented high performing team and give you access to both established and emerging businesses. What will your typical week look like?
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for self-managed superannuation fund clients
- Reviewing taxation notices and preparing correspondence to clients
- Liaising with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Preparing detailed working paper files including investment, income and CGT reconciliations
- Processing transactions for Trustees, benefits transfers, contributions and benefits payments on behalf of clients
- Ensuring jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines
- Ensuring clients are made aware of their compliance obligations

- Dependent on the level of candidate you will either have obtained a relevant degree with a major in Accounting, or working towards
- Have prior SMSF experience - preferred but not essential
- Possess the drive to provide clients with an exceptional high level of advice and care
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using Class software - preferred but not essential
