Supply Chain Planner – Be the Backbone of a Leading Retailer Are you passionate about supply chain excellence? As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be at the heart of the supply chain function, ensuring that stores and customers have the right products at the right time. From managing third-party logistics (3PL) relationships to optimizing stock allocations, this role offers a mix of strategic planning and operational execution. You’ll work closely with Merchandise, Logistics, and Retail Operations teams to drive efficiency, maintain stock integrity, and support promotional activities.Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for third-party logistics providers, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment, delivery, and warehousing operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance.
- Manage stock flow from distribution centres to stores, optimizing inventory levels to meet demand. Collaborate with Merchandise teams to support promotional and seasonal campaigns.
- Analyse supply chain performance, generate insights and produce regular reports for key stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service standards. Enhance supply chain processes to align with business goals and customer expectations.
- Partner with Retail Operations, Marketing, and other departments to align supply chain activities with business priorities.
About You:
We’re seeking a motivated professional with the following qualities:- 2-5 years in supply chain planning within a med-large multi-branch retailer.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with retail supply chain systems (Ontempo experience is a plus).
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Proactive in resolving challenges with suppliers, 3PL providers, and internal processes.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic retail setting, adjusting to shifting priorities and business needs.
- Strong interpersonal and written skills for effective collaboration with teams and external partners.
