We are seeking a Fixed Term Training & Development Lead to guide our learning initiatives, ensuring that our team members are equipped with the essential skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service to our customers. This is a fixed-term role to June 2026. About the Role As the Training & Development Lead, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs across our organisation for the City Rail Link Project. Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing the competencies of our front-line employees. This position involves analysing training needs, developing training materials, and facilitating engaging sessions. Your ability to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement will empower our employees to reach their full potential. You will collaborate closely with different stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally to ensure that our training strategies align with our business goals and comply with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and opportunities across the workforce.
- Design and develop training content and programs tailored to meet organisational needs.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, while utilising various instructional methods.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance training methodologies.
- Facilitate compliance-based training as necessary, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- 3+ years of experience in training and development, preferably within the transport or service industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems and training software.
- A hands-on approach with a focus on delivering high-quality training experiences.
