Accounts Assistant

To perform day-to-day accounting operation activities and functions. 1 Vacancy - Kota Kinabalu

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure that all invoices are authorized by Department Head or Department Senior Staff prior to being processed through the system.
  2. Check the daily cash fund and ensure that all petty cash disbursements have been registered properly.
  3. Assist in the process of closing and checking all documents related to accounts receivable section that are posted into the accounting system. This includes tax invoices, debit & credit notes, refunds, receipts, receipt vouchers, and journal vouchers.

Job Requirements

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / or related field required / equivalent.
  2. A minimum of 1 year working in the Accounts Department, preferably with experience in the tourism industry or services industry.
