Accounts Assistant
To perform day-to-day accounting operation activities and functions. 1 Vacancy - Kota KinabaluResponsibilities
- Ensure that all invoices are authorized by Department Head or Department Senior Staff prior to being processed through the system.
- Check the daily cash fund and ensure that all petty cash disbursements have been registered properly.
- Assist in the process of closing and checking all documents related to accounts receivable section that are posted into the accounting system. This includes tax invoices, debit & credit notes, refunds, receipts, receipt vouchers, and journal vouchers.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / or related field required / equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year working in the Accounts Department, preferably with experience in the tourism industry or services industry.
