We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with strong technical expertise in Motor Condition Monitoring, Plant Condition Assessment, Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA), and Vibration Monitoring Systems (VMS). The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Malaysian market and a proven track record in Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM). You will be responsible for driving sales growth, delivering data-driven solutions, addressing complex challenges, and positioning the company as a leading provider of predictive maintenance solutions in the Malaysian market. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand market share.
- Identify and develop business opportunities in both West and East Malaysia.
- Demonstrate strong familiarity with open tender procedures, ensuring compliance and maximizing success rates in technical bidding.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective pipeline management and closing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of smart condition monitoring systems for industries, MCSA, and VMS to provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the organization's capabilities to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the delivery of customer-centric solutions.
- Lead by example, driving team collaboration and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provide accurate forecasts, market intelligence, and performance reports to management.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve client issues and improve processes.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development within the Mechanical & Electrical, Oil Refinery, Pharmaceutical, and/or Condition-Based Monitoring industries.
- Strong knowledge of MCSA, VMS, and CBM methodologies.
- Excellent understanding of both West and East Malaysian markets.
- Proficiency in data analysis, strategic planning, and market research.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- ISO-certified Vibration Analyst (Category II) qualification is highly advantageous.
- Ability to start work immediately is preferred.
