Responsibilities

1. Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
2. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
3. System Maintenance: Develop and implement procedures, work instructions for machine maintenance.
4. Repairs: Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on machinery and equipment.
5. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
6. Installation: Install new equipment and ensure it operates correctly.
7. Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
8. Machine Qualification: Ensure all new machines are approved on Management of Change (MOC) before starting mass production.
9. Machine Efficiency: Monitor machine utilization downtime and recovery time to ensure no impact on productivity affecting customer delivery.

Secondary Duties

1. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
2. Contractor Management: Project Hirac, permit approval, and oversee contractors to ensure work is completed to standards.
3. Training: Train staff on proper maintenance procedures and equipment operation.
