Position: General Manager- Waterpark Operations Experience: 10+ Years Location: Indore, India Reporting To: COO Overview: We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead our waterpark operations in Indore. With a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional guest experiences, the GM will also be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring safety compliance, and achieving financial success. This role is an excellent fit for professionals passionate about innovation and leadership in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Guest Experience Excellence
- Strategize and implement initiatives to create unforgettable and engaging guest experiences.
- Gather, analyze, and act on guest feedback to consistently improve satisfaction and comfort.
- Ensure the highest levels of safety, accessibility, and service standards to deliver a seamless park experience.
- Oversee and streamline daily operations across rides, ticketing, food and beverage, retail, and guest services.
- Maintain operational efficiency through proactive planning and process optimization.
- Build and inspire a cohesive and motivated team, including engineering staff, lifeguards, and guest service personnel.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Provide coaching and training to ensure the team is equipped for success.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, local regulations, and operational standards.
- Conduct regular safety drills and train staff on emergency procedures to maintain a secure environment.
- Supervise maintenance schedules to guarantee the safety and functionality of rides and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to address and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Manage park budgets effectively, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, such as introducing new attractions and guest-centric initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree / Master’s preferred in Engineering, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 10 years of operational leadership in the hospitality, amusement, or entertainment industries.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with engineering and maintenance operations is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Guest-centric approach with a deep understanding of delivering premium experiences.
- Strong operational acumen with the ability to manage high-pressure situations calmly.
- Expertise in safety standards, regulatory compliance, and emergency management.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to executing ideas effectively.
