Data Automation & Optimization Analyst - Hybrid

This role will be responsible for managing requests in our ServiceNow environment, fulfilling data and analytics requests, with focus on data automation and optimization. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our data ecosystems, the governance and administration of Enterprise-wide analytics tools.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the ServiceNow environment and handle ticket requests for all Copeland Data and Analytics inquiries.
- Fulfil requests for broken reports and dashboards, implementing necessary fixes and improvements. -
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that help businesses support their strategic business decisions.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Sigma or Power BI to present data insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for data solutions.
- Implement and aid in the development of Data and Analytics’ best practices, data quality standards and reporting strategies across the business.
- Automation Development: Design, develop, and implement automated processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to enhance analytics process efficiency.
- Evaluate existing data management, processing, and transformation methods used by the business for gaps and inefficiencies; recommend and implement optimization strategies.
- Create comprehensive documentation for automated processes and provide training to business stakeholders on the changes, new tools and methodologies applied.
- Ensure high integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data throughout its lifecycle by implementing enterprise-driven data quality and management frameworks.
- Automate and optimize processes, reports and dashboards using our data ecosystems and analytics tools
- Work with and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reports and dashboards for process improvement, optimization, automation, and elimination
- Performs other functions as may be deemed necessary by and needed to deliver the output guided by the company, site and department’s vision, mission, and employee policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, related fields
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, automation, or optimization roles
- Displayed mastery in analytical skills – Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable recommendations.
- Database Management: Skills in working with structured (SQL) databases, with proven mastery of using SQL for querying databases.
- Proficiency with ETL, Snowflake, Low Code/No Code tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc)
- High proficiency with data visualization and BI Tools (specifically Sigma, Power BI)
- Hands-on knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, etc).
- Applied proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and process management methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present findings to diverse audiences effectively. O

- Familiarity and experience working in Agile project teams (Preffered)
