Job role: HR Policy and Compliance Specialist Location: Vizag (Onsite) Experience: 2+ years Shift: US Shift (6:30 pm to 3:30 am) Key Responsibilities: Policy Development and Implementation: • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to align with local laws and company objectives. • Ensure effective communication of policies to all employees and facilitate understanding. Compliance Management: • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies. • Conduct regular compliance audits to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks. Reporting and Documentation: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of HR policies, compliance reports, and audit findings. • Prepare regular reports for management on compliance status, policy updates, and training outcomes. Risk Management: • Identify potential compliance risks and work with relevant stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies. • Assist in investigations related to policy violations or complaints, ensuring thorough and fair processes. Training and Awareness: • Design and implement training programs to educate employees about HR policies, legal compliance, and ethical practices. • Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees and management regarding policy interpretation and application. Collaboration: • Work closely with the HR team, legal counsel, and other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to compliance and policy management. • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to promote compliance awareness and best practices. • Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and industry regulations, making recommendations for necessary policy updates. • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance knowledge and skills related to HR compliance. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in HR policy development, compliance, or related roles, preferably in the ITES sector. • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and regulations. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels. • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus. • Experience in conducting compliance audits and investigations. • Knowledge of best practices in HR policy management and compliance frameworks.
