Being the World's First WELL Health and Safety Rated Co-working Space & Southeast Asia's first WELL Precertified v2 co-working space, we make sure to offer a holistic experience to everyone at 2gethr ORR. We always knew flexibility had to be our core feature, in terms of both spatial design & community culture. Keeping this in mind, 2gethr ORR has been designed with a host of amenities that support our members 24x7—whether to take a quick nap & recharge before the next big meeting or sweat it out with the team during a brainstorming session. We are looking for a talented and creative Workspace Designer to join our team, with a passion for transforming interior spaces into aesthetically pleasing functional, and well-designed environments. Your ability to combine artistic flair with technical expertise will be essential in this role. Hone your craft at a right-sized organization, large enough to undertake monumental projects, but small enough that your individual contribution moves the needle. From ideation and creation through project completion, as a member of Design Studio, you will be part of the seamless synergy between our right brained artisans and left-brained technologists. Amazing workspace designs & lots of fun :-) Design ability: Interior designers need to use their sense of style, to develop designs that look great and are aesthetically pleasing. • Develops design concepts and produces Layouts based on client needs. • Meets with clients to program the project requirements. • Takes accurate as-built measurements for developing floor plans and elevations. • Create design concepts and digital presentations with finish selections, furnishings, and fixtures. • Presents design concepts and takes detailed notes to address customer requests Problem-solving skills: Must address challenges, such as construction delays and the high cost or sudden unavailability of selected materials, while keeping the project on time and within budget. • Familiarity with all phases of projects, potential issues, and proven history to produce projects • Knowledge of industry construction costs and material costs • Basic ability to prepare furniture cost estimates • Creative eye for detail in preparation of design presentation materials Creativity: Need to be imaginative in selecting furnishings and fabrics and in creating spaces that serve the client’s needs and fit the client’s lifestyle. • Creativity and imagination • An eye for design, including color, and good 3D awareness • The ability to visualize concepts and explain them to others • Good drawing and IT skills • An interest in changing trends in design. Conceptual Design:
- Formulate innovative conceptual design proposals integrating comprehensive space planning, thoughtfully curated color schemes, refined and functional furniture selections, and sustainable material choices.
- Craft compelling mood boards, 3D renderings, and articulate presentations to proficiently communicate design concepts.
- Devise efficient and dynamic space plans, accounting for workflow optimization, ergonomic principles, and alignment with client’s cultural ethos.
- Leverage space utilization strategies to not only enhance productivity but also foster a cohesive and empowering work culture conducive to sustained organizational success.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture / interior design or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience of working on Workplace design projects
- 3-5+ year experience with Revit experience desired, BIM360. Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and parametric design software, including Grasshopper, a plus • Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes specific to core and shell architecture & workspace projects is required.
