Maintenance Engineer (Exclusive) Longford €73k - €74k Conti days & nights Vickerstock are working exclusively with one of Ireland's biggest and best known food brands to assist them with the expansion of their Maintenance team in Longford. The main duty of this position is to ensure all machinery is kept to high standards and to minimise downtime. Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer:

1. Planning and scheduling of maintenance works to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimise downtime.
2. Carry out electrician and mechanical maintenance. This will include reactive breakdown and preventative maintenance of conveyor belt systems, shredders, balers, and separation equipment.
3. Work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications.
4. Troubleshooting using PLC programs.
5. General site maintenance of other specified equipment to ensure plant is available and runs efficiently.
6. Closely monitor line and machine performance.
7. Preventative and Predictive maintenance routines.

1. Qualified to a minimum level 6.
2. Ideally you will have 2 years+ experience within a food environment.
3. Conversant in the English language both written and verbal.
4. Clear and strong communication skills.
