Data Architect

PwC has an exciting opportunity for a MDM and Data Architect who has extensive working experience within the Retail Banking space. This role will give the successful incumbent an opportunity to work on innovative projects while leveraging new and advanced technologies to drive transformative solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled MDM and Data Architect who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our client enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) and Data solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring data consistency, quality, and accessibility, while supporting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Qualification :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or related field
• Relevant certifications in MDM, data management and/or related areas - advantageous

• Minimum 10 years experience in MDM and data architecture roles
• Hands on experience of implementing Data solutions
• Demonstrated experienced in designing and implementing enterprise-level data management solutions
• Relevant working experience in Banking
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and best practices.
• Proficiency in data integration, data modeling and data warehousing.
• Experienced with MDM tools and platforms (Informatica, IBM Infosphere, Talend)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (preferably Azure and AWS)
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to lead and manage project effectively

• Design and implement robust MDM solutions to ensure accurate, consistent, and complete master data across the organisation
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and standards

• Design and implement a scalable and flexible data architecture to support seamless data integration, access, and management
• Ensure data solutions align with business goals and technology advancements

• Establish data quality frameworks and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of master data
• Collaborate with data stewards and business units to enforce data governance policies and procedures

• Oversee the integration of MDM and data solutions with existing systems and applications
• Ensure interoperability between various data sources and platforms

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data management team and other stakeholders
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management and architecture

• Lead and manage MDM and data projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and deliverables
